Did you realize that by simply typing “linked:http://yourbandspagehere.com” into Google you can see how many fans (and exactly which ones) are posting YOUR banners on their pages?
Have you ever been on tour in an unfamiliar town and need to find a guitar shop because of lost cords or broken equipment? Did you know Google has you covered even if you don’t have a smart phone or your smart phone isn’t getting a 3G signal? Just call GOOG-411 and say the city and “guitar shop” to obtain a list of guitar shops in the area and get connected to the closest one to you. For FREE.
The following list will cover some of Googles tools and explain some effective ways that bands can take advantage of what Google has to offer.

Inspirational Industrial Music CD Covers Dissected.

I’m going to be starting the art work for the ‘Razorblade Society, Volume 4′ CD soon, and the first step of the process for me is inspiration and dissection of other CD covers. I figured I’d share the process with all of our readers. If you’re about to design your bands’ CD cover, then this is the post for you. We’re going to go over some of the ones I feel really work the best, dissect them, and talk about WHY they work well and why they stand out among the crowd. First, let’s talk about what makes a CD cover really pop.
